Yesterday, on Saturday, the 21st of December, we celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English. The service was officiated by Fr. Valentin, assisted by Frs. Deacons Vladimir and Georgiy.
The service was also attended by Maria Butina, deputy of the Russian State Duma, who has a particular interest in the issue of immigration to Russia from the West and removing the many roadblocks along the way.
Our traditional breakfast meal after the service featured a meeting with Maria Butina, at which immigrants and repatriates from the West, many of whom are our parishioners, shared their issues and discussed life in Russia.
Our next service will likely take place at the beginning of 2025. Hope to see you there!
