This past Saturday, the 29th of March, we celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English. The service was officiated by Fr. Seraphim.
Anticipating the commemoration, on the next day, of St. John Climacus, author of the Ladder of Divine Ascent, Fr. Seraphim offered a sermon on our struggle with the passions, the therapy we receive in the spiritual hospital that is the Church, and the aid of God in our spiritual healing.
We then gathered for our traditional breakfast meal.
Our next service will be Divine Liturgy on Saturday, the 5th of April, at 9:30 AM, at St. Nicholas. Hope to see you there!
