Today, on Saturday, the 3rd of May, we celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English. The service was officiated by Fr. Seraphim.
Anticipating the commemoration of the Myrrhbearers tomorrow, Fr. Seraphim offered a sermon on the discipleship of women, and on the contrast between God’s intent for women, and the views of the traditional culture of the time of Jesus, as well as most cultures, whether traditional or “progressive,” today.
We then gathered for our traditional breakfast meal.
Our next services will be Divine Liturgy tomorrow, on Sunday, the 4th of May, at 10:30 AM at St. Catherine’s. Hope to see you there!
