Divine Liturgy July 25

On Saturday, the 25th of July, we celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English. The service was headed by Fr. Igor.

Our choir sang without a director again, and did very well. In fact, some of our singers are turning into quite effective directors themselves. Eight experienced and prepared readers read during the service. The visiting family members of Mark, one of our active parishioners, contributed greatly, helping Fr. Igor in the altar, singing, and reading, for which we are very thankful!

After the service, we had our traditional breakfast meal. We sang the Many Years for Misha, our parishioner who was baptized on Great Friday this year, as he prepares for an extended trip to his home country.

The meal was followed by catechism class for those interested in learning more about the Orthodox faith, led by Jesse Dominick, our friend and a long-time contributor to the various projects of the Educational Center of St. Felix of Burgundy, which gave rise to our choir, catechism classes, and Bible study
