Today, on Saturday, the 1st of March, the Saturday of Cheesefare, we celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English. The service was officiated by Fr. Seraphim, assisted by Fr. Deacon Vladimir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fr. Seraphim offered a sermon on the often protracted struggle with forgiving, featuring some entertaining personal stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the service, we gathered for our traditional breakfast meal. Several of us then went to an informal catechism class with Joshua Laurin, our seminary-educated parishioner, who also leads our English-language Bible study on Fridays as part of the activities of the Educational Center of St. Felix of Burgundy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our next service will be Divine Liturgy on Saturday, the 8th of March, at 9:30 AM, at St. Nicholas. Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
