This past Saturday, the 17th of May, we celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English. The service was officiated by Fr. Seraphim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fr. Seraphim offered a sermon on the encounter of Jesus with the Samaritan woman at the well, on how we often seek just a religion of convenience, that will make us feel better, or ease our fear of dying, whereas Jesus instead offers us a relationship with God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then gathered for our traditional breakfast meal. This was followed by catechism class for those wishing to become Orthodox, or simply learn more about the faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our next service will be Divine Liturgy on Saturday, the 31st of May, at 9:30 AM, at St. Nicholas. Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
