On the morning of Saturday, the 13th of September, we celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English at the Temple of St. Nicholas. The service was officiated by Fr. Valentin. Concelebrating was Fr. Victor of Uganda, visiting us from the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, with Frs. Deacons Georgiy and Vladimir assisting.

After the service and brief words of congratulations from Fr. Valentin, we gathered for our traditional breakfast meal.

It was Fr. Victor’s last visit to our temple before his return to Uganda. We exchanged stories and sang the Many Years to give him a warm send-off for his return journey and service in his homeland!
