On Bright Saturday, the 18th of April, we celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English. The service was headed by our rector, Fr. Antoniy, with Frs. Raphael and David of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa concelebrating.

We had served our first Vespers (evening prayer) in English the previous evening, and also included with this post is a picture of our temple during the first part of Vespers, in the evening dark, before the lights are turned on during the singing of O Gladsome Light.

After the service, we joined our sister French group, who had a Bright Saturday Liturgy in French today, for a joint procession, with much singing of the Paschal Troparion and other songs of Pascha.

Our meal featured the Many Years for Michael, who was baptized just before Pascha, and had his birthday this week.

We then went for some bell ringing. Joshua Laurin offered a catechesis class.

There were many other bright moments, too many to list in a short post. Thank you to everyone for the preparation and for participation!
