This past Saturday, the 17th of May, we celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English. The service was officiated by Fr. Seraphim.

Fr. Seraphim offered a sermon on the encounter of Jesus with the Samaritan woman at the well, on how we often seek just a religion of convenience, that will make us feel better, or ease our fear of dying, whereas Jesus instead offers us a relationship with God.

We then gathered for our traditional breakfast meal. This was followed by catechism class for those wishing to become Orthodox, or simply learn more about the faith.

Our next service will be Divine Liturgy on Saturday, the 31st of May, at 9:30 AM, at St. Nicholas. Hope to see you there!
